Smart QR Car Tag

Most drivers have written a phone number on a scrap of paper and left it on the dashboard at some point. It works, right up until the moment you would rather a stranger did not have your personal number.

The Smart QR Car Tag replaces that piece of paper. It sits on your windscreen or window, and anyone who needs to reach you points a phone camera at it. A contact page opens straight away, with no app to install and no account for them to create. They can send you a WhatsApp message or connect a private call.

What makes it different from the paper note is that your number stays yours. It is held encrypted with AES-256 and used only to deliver the message or bridge the call. During a private call our system sits between the two sides so neither sees the other's real number, and nothing about the connection is kept afterwards. All the other person ever sees is a form, and your name if you have chosen to show it.

Where this earns its place:

Double-parked in a narrow lane and somebody needs to get out. Parked at an apartment gate or in a basement bay that turns out to belong to someone else. A security guard needs the owner before calling a tow truck. Somebody scrapes the bumper in a crowded lot and wants to tell you rather than leave. Headlights left on, a window down before rain, or a door not fully shut.

Alerts reach you through WhatsApp in a median of under five seconds, which is usually faster than a note on a windscreen would ever be noticed.

Worth saying plainly: this is not a vehicle tracker. There is no GPS and no background location. The car's whereabouts are known only when somebody scans the tag and chooses to share where they are.

Activation takes two steps. Scan your own tag, verify your number, and your account is created automatically.

Selling the car? One tap in your dashboard deactivates the tag and the QR stops working at once. You can re-activate it on your next vehicle.

Bought once, used for the life of the car, with no subscription. The print is weatherproof and UV-resistant, made to sit behind glass in direct sun without fading.
